The Amesbury 350th Anniversary Committee was established to celebrate the city’s rich history, culture, and community spirit through a series of commemorative events, educational programs, and public initiatives. The celebration honors Amesbury’s past while bringing residents, businesses, and organizations together to recognize its continued growth and future.
In 2018, Amesbury, Massachusetts, celebrated its 350th anniversary. For a milestone of this scale, it was important to have a visual identity that could represent the pride, history, and unity of the community throughout a year-long celebration of events and programming.
We worked with the town and a collaborative community team to help bring the visual identity for the anniversary celebration to life. The focus was on supporting the development and refinement of a commemorative logo that could be used across a wide range of events and materials throughout the year.
Working alongside local contributors, including artist Sandra Morrissey, we helped shape a design direction that reflected the spirit of Amesbury and its 350-year history. The goal was to ensure the identity felt meaningful, celebratory, and deeply connected to the community it represented.
